Living up to her reputation as the wild child of modelling, Kate Moss, 41, has been escorted off an easyJet flight after being disruptive. The British supermodel was met by police officers at Luton Airport in the UK when she returned from a trip to Bodrum, Turkey.
While officials confirmed a passenger was being “disruptive” no further complaints of arrests were made.
A Bedfordshire Police spokesman told SkyNews: “We were called to assist staff in escorting a passenger from a flight arriving into Luton airport this afternoon. The passenger had been reported as being disruptive on the flight. Officers attended and escorted the passenger from the plane. No formal complaints were made against her and she was not arrested. An easyJet spokeswoman confirmed that police met flight EZY2232 from Bodrum to Luton ‘due to the behaviour of a passenger onboard'”.
Despite being worth an alleged Dhs308 million, Kate Moss flew on the budget airline to travel to Turkey where she was celebrating her best pal Sadie Frost’s forthcoming 50th birthday (June 19).
Kate, who career began when she was 14 after being spotted by Storm model agency founder Sarah Doukas at JFK airport, joined actress and author Sadie in the tourist hub of Bodrum with fellow showbiz pals Frances Ruffelle, the mother of popstar Eliza Doolittle and daughter of Sylvia Young – who founded the Sylvia Young Theatre School in London – and PR party planner Fran Cutler.
According to the Mail, this air travel trouble isn’t a first for Kate who allegedly once tried to board a flight to Turkey from Gatwick without a ticket. Apparently “Moss eventually managed to get on the plane but the furore resulted in the flight being delayed by two hours and 21 minutes.”
Hmm, perhaps she should think about avoiding any flights to Turkey for a while…
