K-pop fans, you won’t want to miss this…
Back in January, EXO became the first ever K-pop band to have a song added to the Dubai Fountain’s playlist.
It was a huge honour – but now, the supergroup has an even bigger icon in its sights. A three-minute light and sound show featuring the band’s smash hit, Power, is set to be beamed onto the Burj Khalifa this weekend.
The Instagram account for the world’s tallest building shared this teaser image, revealing the show will take place on Saturday, July 14 at 8.10pm.

Considering the Burj Khalifa usually only lights up for national holidays and other super special occasions, it’s a pretty big deal – and naturally, EXO fans are excited.
The LED projection on Burj Khalifa has only been used for royalty, flags of arab countries during their national day and during New Years… to have #EXO, a korean boy group’s faces projected on it is kfjdjfjd pic.twitter.com/LS5aF5QyrO

While the boys jetted in from Korea to witness their history-making Dubai Fountain debut, unfortunately, it’s unlikely they’ll be able to make it back to Dubai this time.
As The National reports, the group is currently undertaking their fourth world tour, and the Burj Khalifa show will clash with their three-day encore concert in Seoul.
The band also came to Dubai in April to perform in the massive SMTOWN LIVE concert at Autism Rocks Arena.
At this point, we might as well declare 2018 the Year of EXO…
