She jetted in for the DVF x Etihad event
This week supermodel Joan Smalls was in the UAE capital for a wind-whirl visit. She was in town for the Etihad Airways 15th Anniversary celebration, which showcased a collaboration between the aviation giant and Diane Von Furstenberg at the Louvre Abu Dhabi on Wednesday evening. As part of the celebrations, the fashion house has created a new scarf revealed at the show will be worn by air cabin staff at the Abu Dhabi airline.

During her trip, the model stayed at well known five-star Hong Kong hotel chain in the city. She didn’t seem to spend much time there however, travelling out into the desert for the day, and to the F1 Formula track posting several images of her adventure on her Instagram account.

Joan also made sure to pay her respects to The Great Mosque, Abu Dhabi. Captioning the picture ” faith … sometimes that’s all you need. Feeling so blessed and grateful”.

Also in town for the event was actress and model Liv Tyler, who posted a short video clip of her visit on social media, showing her applying lipstick at the glamorous event.
