Well, maybe we’re a little biased.
She just wore Zuhair Murad on a major magazine cover, so really it’s no surprise that Jennifer Lopez has turned to the Lebanese designer once more.
At the Time 100 Gala in New York, where she also performed, 48-year-old Lopez wore a dramatic shimmering gold gown from Murad.

Inside J-Lo’s whistle-stop visit to Dubai
This Lebanese label dressed Jennifer Lopez for a major cover…
Lopez, who was last in Dubai for a concert in November, looked spectacular, but it’s far from the only time she’s turned to fashion houses from our part of the world. Inspired by her double star turn in Murad this week, we’ve rounded up Lopez’s best Middle East designed looks.
Zuhair Murad
Here’s a better look at that most recent Murad gown on Lopez. With a high slit, deep V-neck, and gold embroidery, you wouldn’t call it subtle, but that’s why we love it.
Lopez can absolutely carry off go-big-or-go-home looks, and this is a great example.
So too is this Murad look on the Time cover where Lopez was named one of the world’s most influential people. Amazing.
.
When Lopez hosted the American Music Awards in 2015, she wore about a dozen outfits. But to our minds, this Murad look was one of the absolute best.
It’s like a starry night sky, and we’ve got a lot of time for it.
Elie Saab
We’ve been thinking about this tone-on-tone sculptural number from Lebanon’s Elie Saab since Lopez donned it a year ago. Just stunning.
And how cute is this puff-sleeved black mini from the same week? Very cute, is the answer.
Nicholas Jebran
For high drama and stage presence, you can’t go past this fellow Lebanese designer Nicholas Jebran. Bow down.
Lopez wore this in September last year.
Michael Cinco
This high-impact look from Dubai-based Filipino designer Michael Cinco saw Lopez through another portion of the 2015 American Music Awards.
With a high neck, long sleeves, and an ombre sequin effect, it’s very much in keeping with Lopez’s star status. Beautiful.
We’ll keep you in the loop as Lopez continues to Get Right in Middle Eastern designs.
