The signs point towards yes…

There’s nothing quite like the feeling of pulling on a crisp, box-fresh sneaker—and we might soon have a whole host more options to choose from.

According to reports, Dubai is set to welcome a huge new Nike store next year, giving us as many yoga pants, running shoes and comfy hoodies as our hearts desire.

The shop will sit in the vacant space where Japanese bookstore Kinokuniya used to reside in The Dubai Mall, Gulf News reports, and will open sometime in 2018.

Industry insiders have suggested it might even be the biggest retail space ever for the sportswear giant.

“It will most likely be Nike’s largest store in the world,” one footwear industry individual told the newspaper.

Kinokuniya used to take over 68,000 square feet of retail space, What’s On Dubai reports, so it’d definitely be sizable (Nike’s London store is a comparatively small 42,000 square feet).

The Dubai Mall would also welcome a NikeLab, Gulf News reports, a concept from the brand that focuses on rare collectible trainers.

We also imagine the giant Niketown would be well stocked with the brand’s upcoming Pro Hijab, a modest sportswear veil that’s set to be released early next year.

The item was intensively tested by headscarf-wearing athletes during development, including Emirati figure skater Zahra Lari.

The back of the hijab itself is longer, to ensure it stays tucked in, while the fabric is studded with tiny, imperceptible holes to keep the wearer cool.

The finished product will come in black, grey and obsidian, though Nike have suggested brighter hues might be used in the future.
