Huda Kattan Has Been Named One Of Forbes’ Top Three Beauty Influencers

The Dubai-based beauty mogul scores a prime place on this first-ever list…

Makeup artist, social media star, entrepreneur… Huda Kattan has many strings to her bow.

And the Dubai-based founder of Huda Beauty can now add another title to her CV – one of Forbes‘ Top Influencers.

The award-winning blogger, who boasts more than 19 million Instagram followers, has been named the third most powerful beauty star in the world in the title’s first-ever compilation of influencers.

Kattan, whose eponymous line is stocked in Sephora, was just pipped to the post for the No1 spot by British beauty vlogger and author Zoe Sugg, who has 11 million YouTube subscribers.

Second place on the list went to American vlogger Michelle Phan, while other names that rounded out the top 10 include New Zealand-based Shannon Harris and British makeup artist Wayne Goss.

On Kattan, Forbes noted that the entrepreneur “oversees a beauty empire that includes false lashes favoured by Kim Kardashian (and sold in vending machines with Kattan’s face splashed on the side)”.

Added to that, the fact that Huda Beauty is stocked in global Sephora stores is “a sure sign an influencer has made it”, the title said.

And with the brand set to release its first foundation, as well as a highlighter palette, in the very near future, Kattan’s star is only set to further rise.

Forbes has also covered top influencers in other categories, including fitness and interiors, and upcoming releases from the title will cover social media stars in the fields of fashion, travel and food.
