Red carpet season may be on hold but it doesn’t mean the glam events are over. Far from it. In fact from Art Dubai (March 18-21) to the Dubai World Cup (March 28) and Fashion Forward (April 10-13), looking the part has never been so important. Luckily we’ve enlisted Toni & Guy for some help on how to perfect an up-do.
Whatever you plans be sure to be the mane event (sorry we couldn’t resist) with this easy to follow step-by-step to getting the perfect up-do.
Step One: Prep hair with label.m Volume Mousse, then apply label.m Texturising Volume Spray to create an ‘undone’ look.
Step Two: Create a side parting and at the top of the crown take a triangular section of the hair and backcomb it before pulling it into a low pony. Secure in place with an elastic.
Step Three: From the ponytail, create a rope braid.
Step Four: Next, take the rope braid and twist it into a bun securing in place with hair pins.
Step Five: Finally, pull strands of hair loose to finish.
