“My eyes are tattooed to his chest.”

Gigi Hadid wants everyone to know her relationship with Zayn Malik is – and always has been – the real deal.

The half-Palestinian model has responded to an Instagram account that goes by the name @exposingfakeeasszigiii. While the account is private, the description says it is dedicated to revealing the “truth” about her relationship with the British-Pakistani singer.

According to E! News, a recent post alleged that everything the couple does is “for promo”, using the fact that Zayn does not follow Gigi on Instagram as supposed “evidence” their relationship is not genuine.

It appears to have been the final straw for Gigi, who left a comment on the post asking the account to stop tagging her.

“It’s just negative,” she wrote. “I really have no hard feelings towards you, I just know what a beautiful world there is to go out and live in instead of trying to dissect a relationship between two people that you don’t even know and that you do not see 99% of.”

The model added that she didn’t need Zayn to follow her, as he is virtually inactive on Instagram – and anyway, “my eyes are tattooed to his chest” (referring to Zayn’s actual tattoo of her eyes on his chest).

“The energy you put into this does not serve you or your life in any way kids,” she said.

“You guys can call it promo but I just post about my boyfriend like anyone else, whether I support Z or he supports me is out of love and excitement for one another. There’s nothing to figure out all the time… give it a break.”

While many supported the star, one user told Gigi she should have DM’d the account owner instead of making a public comment. Gigi had a response for them, too.

“I’m sorry if it came off immature, I’m just trying to open a dialogue so people understand their words are hurtful and not just an ‘anonymous confession’,” she explained.

“This internet culture is cruel and does not serve a greater purpose.”

Gigi and Zayn announced they were parting ways in March. However, they have since been photographed together, sparking rumours they have rekindled their romance – and Gigi’s latest comments only seem to confirm that.
