Representing the Arab world in Milan
Palestinian-American supermodels Gigi and Bella Hadid dominated the Versace Spring/Summer 2019 show this week.

Egyptian-Moroccan model Imaan Hammam who has previously discussed how proud she Is of her Muslim roots also took part in the show.
Key themes at the show included, leather, neon colours and bold prints.
Bella looked stunning in a one-shouldered yellow leather mini dress and matching pumps. The colour played a dominant theme at the show, with a yellow backdrop also being used in the set design for the show.
Gigi wore bold animal print trousers, which formed another key theme of the show, along with a neon orange jacket and Versace logo t-shirt. The model also wore a bright print mini dress on the catwalk.
Meanwhile Imaan wore a matching shirt and trouser combo, which championed bold colours and classic Versace prints.
Artistic Director and Vice President Donatella Versace made an appearance on the catwalk wearing an orange leather tshirt emboldened with the fashion house’s logo, matched with black trousers and black platform shoes.
Famous faces in the audience included Nicki Minaj, Rosie Huntingon-Whiteley Rita Ora, Luke Evans, Leona Lewis and fashion influencer Chiara Ferragni. The show was held in an industrial space in the CityLife district in Milan, Italy.
