Sheikha Mozah bint Nasser Al Missned is undoubtedly the Queen of Haute Couture with her incredible wardrobe, but did you realise just how style savvy she is?
When the busy royal isn’t tackling campaigns for education and advocacies for children, she is checking out the best looks from international catwalk shows, picking out her favourite styles and getting them altered to fit her more conservative tastes. Are we jealous? Somewhat, but if we could we do the same we so would – she isn’t a fashion icon for no reason.
We’ve compiled our top picks of her most elegant ensembles, and it is easy to see that when Sheikha Mozah loves a specific designer, she loves it wholeheartedly.
From The Runway To Sheikha Mozah:
Sheikha Mozah wore a modified version of a gown from the Stephane Rolland Paris Fashion Week Haute Couture spring/summer 2009 collection as she attended the formal opening of an exhibition on Qatar’s Qur’anic Botanic Garden.
The Qatari royal wore a top from Jean Paul Gaultier’s autumn/winter 2015 Haute Couture Collection during Paris Fashion Week. Not afraid to double up on her looks she wore it again during a trip to London for a conference about the margins of ‘Supporting Syria & the Region’.
Sheikha Mozah wore an elegant Christian Dior creation from the spring/summer 2012 collection of Paris Haute Couture Fashion Week during a state visit to Italy.
This Valentino dress from the autumn/winter 2103 collection, at Paris Fashion Week Haute Couture, was updated with lace embellishment for a more demure look during her meeting with Her Excellency Erna Solberg, the Prime Minister of Norway. Their discussion focused on the education of Syrian Refugee children.
Sheika Mozah attended the Qatar Prix de L’Arc de Triomphe horse race in another Valentino dress from the autumn/winter 2013 collection.
Of course, there had to be a Chanel Haute Couture suit. This suit from the autumn/winter 2015 collection was particularly chic and classy as she attended the agreement between Educate a Child and the UK Department for International Development. At the meeting Sheikha Mozah emphasised how the meeting would benefit refugees and around 2 million children.
If ever there was a woman who could prove that high-fashion and serious business could mix well it’s Sheikha Mozah.
