Towel? Check. Sunscreen? Check. Tigers? Er, check!

This may seem like an odd checklist of things to see at a beach, but at one UAE beach this was a reality as five tigers were seen paddling in the shallow waters.

Spotting exotic animals in Dubai is sadly commonplace and a recent sighting of majestic tigers has now gone viral, and receiving mixed reactions.

In the video, which is being rapidly shared on social media, five tigers are seen playing and paddling in the sea with the iconic Burj Al Arab in the background.

But before you start to panic about your next family trip to the beach, fear not as the film is believed to have been shot in one of the private palaces along King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud Street (formerly Al Sufouh Road).

The video has been trending only a week after His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed Al Maktoum, the Crown Prince of Dubai, shared a picture on Instagram of himself and his “friend”, a white-haired lion.

It seems the tigers must live close by to the beach as a similar video was posted in the same spot only last year, however back then it was only three tigers that were seen playfully swimming in the sea.
