Can an emirate have too many beach clubs? In the land of sun, sea and sand it seems not.
Don’t get us wrong, we love beach clubs, which is why Nakheel’s Club Vista Mare on Palm Jumeriah got us so excited when it finally opened yesterday.
The Dhs120 million (US$32.6m) project is a beachfront residential and recreation project which includes 37 studio apartments – now on sale with units said to cost Dhs1.15 million – as well as seven cafes and restaurants, retail areas and gym facilities.
If that wasn’t impressive enough, the USP here is that all areas – it spans almost 55,000 sq ft at ground level, with an additional 30,000 sq ft of residential space on the first floor – boast spectacular views of Palm Jumeirah’s eastern shoreline and Dubai’s world-famous landmarks.
The upscale dining destinations are said to host 2,000 guests at a time, with indoor and outdoor terrace seating and some beach side tables. If you’re driving there fear not as there are 250 parking spaces.
