We all love a good clothes shop, but heading to the changing room with 30 items tucked under your arm can turn it into a bit of a long process. Especially if you’ve dragged somebody along to the store with you.
The Galleria on Al Maryah Island, Abu Dhabi has announced the return of the Virtual Style Po, which would not only save time for hardcore clothes shoppers, but makes it a whole bunch easier to find and pick out what you think you’d look good in.
The Pod allows shoppers the ability to try clothes on, without actually having to try them on – using augmented reality to show users what they’d look like in an array of luxury outfits. This is particularly appealing for local shoppers.

Using 3D body mapping technology, combined with life-sized mirrors, shoppers can twirl around for a 360-degree view of the outfit, and have the option to mix and match what they’re wearing.
As far as what’s on offer to sample, a wide variety of both men’s and women’s contemporary fashion brands will be unveiling their spring and summer collections for shoppers to virtually try on.
