fashion q&A

This week, Junior Fashion Editor Alexandra Venison talks safari chic and reveals the perfect style pieces for that mini getaway.

Q.) I’m heading to Ras Al Khaimah for a long weekend and am in need of a cover up that stands out from the crowd. Where’s the best place to find something a bit different?

A.) Look to West LA Boutique for some serious, stand-out pieces from some of the coolest brands to reach Dubai. This kimono by UNIF is perfect with its mix of tie dye and tassels. The best part you can order it straight online and have it to your desk the next day.

Q.) When going on a desert safari what are my trouser options?

A.) Opt for a loose trouser made of light material with a drawstring waist and elasticated legs for safari chic. The drawstring means you can tighten when the activities get more intense and the bottoms stop the sand from going up the legs! For more safari chic ideas, visit here.

Q.) I’m off to the UK for a mini getaway and need a jacket that won’t break the bank and is waterproof, what do you suggest?

A.) Jackets are slowly trickling into stores but why not take advantage of the UK and get something delivered straight to the address your staying at? This also means you get way more choice and instead of trawling the malls you can spend more time on packing at home!
