One of EW’s favourite cheap chic shopping spots made a splash at Fashion Week in Paris with their first ever show in the French capital this week.

Held in the grand setting of the Musée Rodin, H&M’s debut Autumn 2013 show attracted a slew of famous front row faces including Ashley Olsen, Pixie Geldof, Chloe Moretz and Emma Roberts.

Teen dream and actress, Chloe Moretz said, “I’m so excited to be here right now. I think that H&M doing this show during Paris Fashion Week puts H&M in a whole new light,”

The collection showcased the Swedish fashion houses’ slick tailoring with an androgynous mix of delicate, femme dresses and military-inspired masculine separates. There were lots of cosy chunky knits, teamed with leathers, mohair and surprise of sequins.

And we mustn’t forget the accessories, baker boy caps and over-the-knee leather boots? Yes please!

Overall, the collection was sleek, a little playful thanks to the tomboy influence, but most importantly it was wearable –we can tell you now, we want it all

“I loved seeing our Autumn Collection on the catwalk at Paris Fashion Week. It brought to life the spirit of the clothes, and how you can mix together different styles to create your own personal look. Key pieces like the wool overcoat, the tails and the sequin dresses are going to give you real attitude this autumn,” explains Ann-Sofie Johansson, H&M’s Head of Design.

We’re just going to put it out there, H&M are definitely having a moment this season. The highstreet giant, who are ranked the second largest clothing retailer in the world, just behind Inditex, the company who own Zara, have enjoyed plenty of press and success as of late.

Largely, thanks to yet another sell-out designer collaboration, this time with Maison Martin Margiela.

They also dressed award-winning actress Helen Hunt for the Oscars last week and now they’ve shown at Paris Fashion Week. Not too shabby eh?

The collection will be available in around 200 stores worldwide, as well as online, from September 5, 2013 – this just made our week!
