Fashion Forward (FFWD) Season 7 has found a new home in none other than the Dubai Design District (d3) after earning an endorsement by Dubai Design And Fashion Council (DDFC).
While the prestigious fashion platform has, in the past few seasons, hosted talks at the creative hub that is D3, this year FFWD will fully relocate from Madinat to the design district.

FFWD will present its autumn/winter 2016 shows around Hai d3, with custom-created tents housing two runways and two presentation spaces, as well as dedicated event spaces for networking. The four-day event from March 31 to April 3.

“Receiving the official endorsement from DDFC aligns FFWD with the vision of the Council and we are looking forward to working under their guidance as we continue to evolve the platform,” said Bong Guerrero, CEO and co-founder of FFWD. “We are also delighted to present autumn/winter 2016 from our new location at Hai d3. FFWD’s success so far would not have been possible without the support of our strategic partner, d3, and as Dubai’s hub for creativity and design, the space offers the ideal home for FFWD.

As well as building a new home for FFWD, the seventh edition of the platform will also introduce a more refined programme, meeting the needs of the region’s growing fashion industry.

While the list of showcasing designers are still being finalised (we will deliver the news to you as soon as possible, so stay tuned), we can confirm that d3 Fashion Talks will remain. The talks offer a series of panel discussions and presentations from esteemed international industry professionals. Previous speakers have included international supermodel, Yasmin Le Bon; founder of The Sartorialist, Scott Schuman; and the founder and CEO of The Business Of Fashion, Imran Amed.
