Middle Eastern designers are enjoying a moment du jour on the red carpet, and this year’s Emmys were no exception. Here’s some of our favourite Middle Eastern looks from last night.

Chrissy Teigen
The sassy superstar stepped out in a fabulous Zuhair Murad gown from the designer’s Fall 2018 couture collection at last night’s event. The model-turned-cookbook-writer wore a floor length ensemble, which championed this year’s shimmer trend in silver. The dress had a stunning thigh high split and keyhole neckline.
Tina Fey
Popular Comedian and actress Tina Fey was at this year’s event to present an award, and she did so in style. The Mean Girls and 30 Rock creator wore a stunning lace and velvet gown from Elie Saab.
Yvonne Orji
Creator of hit sitcom FirstGen chose to wear Middle Eastern designer Georges Chakra to the awards. The actress, who is known for her role as Molly in Insecure, looked stunning in a classic black velvet dress from the Lebanese label.
Keri Russell
It was a great night for Zuhair Murad with Keri Russell also choosing to step out in a gown from the fashion house. The Americans actress chose to go with a black floor length outfit from the designer’s Spring 2018 Couture Collection. The stunning gown featured sequins, feathers and thigh-high split.

Meanwhile, fellow Americans actress Holly Taylor also chose to step out in a Middle Eastern label. The young star wore Lebanese label Georges Charka. Holly followed the thigh-high cut trend in this beautiful royal blue number.
Shay Mitchell
The former Pretty Little Liars actress, Shay Mitchell stepped out in a stunning Zuhair Murad gown, making it a hat trick for the Lebanese designer. Shay wore a beautiful green velvet gown to a pre Emmys party yesterday evening.
