Tickets for the concert – which will be the Dubai Opera’s first by an Arabic singer – will be go on sale tomorrow (July 4) at 9am, so be sure to set your alarms nice and early.
The 36-year-old heartthrob, Hussain Al Jassmi is renowned for merging traditional Khaleeji and modern Arabic beats, taking Emirati pop music to a new level.

His top hits include Fegadtek, Ma Yeswa and Bawada’ak. A Dubai Opera spokesperson said: “The combination of a truly great Emirati singer and Dubai Opera’s state-of-the-art acoustics, mean this will be a live experience like no other.”
Al Jassmi, who received the Murex d’Or award in 2008 for Best Arabic Male Singer, said of his forthcoming Dubai gig: “I am very proud to be performing in my hometown, in front of my fans at this inspiring and world-class venue. This will truly be a remarkable and beautiful night to remember.”
Dubai Opera Chief Executive, Jasper Hope, added: “It’s a great honour for us to welcome Hussain Al Jassmi as our first Arabic singer to perform on the Dubai Opera stage.
“We couldn’t imagine someone more perfect to take pride of place in our mix of world class shows in the inaugural season. We very much hope to encourage fans of Mr. Al Jassmi from across the region to visit Dubai to enjoy this incredible opportunity.”
