Changes to Dubai International Airport have been announced

Dubai’s busiest airport has announced changes that will affect both Emirates and Fly Dubai flights in 2019.

If you have any trips planned between April 16 to May 30 2019 you might want to check the list of planned route changes for Emirates airline, and its partner airline FlyDubai as the operating schedule for both will be reduced by approximately 28% during this time.

A member of the UAE Royal family is now piloting Emirates flights 

Some flights from the airlines will be reduced, whereas other routes will be rerouted to the city’s second airport Al Maktoum International (DWC), whilst the airport undergoes upgrade work.

FlyDubai is expected to see some routes moved to DWC, situated close to the Dubai Expo 2020 site. Gulf News reported this week that 36 routes would be affected by the changes
