Each more stunning than the last, to be honest.
Elizabeth Banks is a reliable red carpet delight. Maybe it started with her role as Effie Trinket in The Hunger Games films – she brought some of that character’s over-the-top style to her own appearances, and it worked.
Those films are done with now, though, and Banks keeps bringing her A game. Just this week she stepped out wearing Lebanese designer Elie Saab, and it got us thinking.
Yes, many of the actress’s best looks have come courtesy of Saab.

We’ve rounded them up for your viewing pleasure here.
First off, here’s that recent gown we mentioned.
We love that skirt – it’s somehow both graphic and painterly. And the neckline is lovely.
There’s a reason we chose this 2015 look as the top image of this story, though. It’s not just Banks’ best, it’s one of our all-time favourite gowns full stop.
The cut is perfect, the silhouette is dramatic and elegant, the beading is beautiful. Banks looks like a total movie star.
As she did here, at the Vanity Fair Oscars party in 2017. This is playful, party-ready and daring. Banks looks incredible.
For some straight-up drama, you need a cape. That shape, paired with the watercolour fabric, makes this 2014 look an absolute winner.
Heading all the way back to 2012, we’ve got a lot of time for this tangerine, body-skimming column gown. That symmetrical beadwork is a Saab signature, and it works.
Would you like another cape? We can help you out with that. This delicate winter floral is from the Venice Film Festival in 2015.
For something a little bit more daytime, there’s this pretty frock worn for the 2016 Democratic National Convention. Again, it’s a perfect fit.
Let’s finish with this unexpected colour combination, which somehow works so well. Autumnal yet fresh, it’s exactly what we’d want to wear to a friend’s wedding.
Beautiful stuff, wouldn’t you agree?
