It’s set to be twice the size of The Dubai Mall
We might have one of the world’s biggest malls right here on our doorstep, but an ever bigger shopping complex is now in the works.

Dubbed the Dubai Square, it will be spread across three levels and include both indoor and outdoor shopping areas. Developers behind the project sought inspiration from some leading shopping destinations in the world, including London’s Oxford Street, LA’s Beverly Hills and Paris’ Champs-Elysees.

At 8 million square feet spanning streets, piazzas and avenues, it will be the equivalent of more than 100 football pitches and will be twice the size of The Dubai Mall.
Dubai Square is positioning itself as the ‘mall of the future’, targeting digital-savvy customers. Ideas in the pipe line include interactive mirrors, which will allow you to order pay via the dressing room.
There’ll be a dedicated luxury avenue as well as an Ice Adventure Park and is set to be home to the Middle East’s largest Chinatown. No biggie.
Dubai Square will be handily located near Dubai Creek Tower, the world’s next tallest tower which is currently under construction. Visitors will be able to access the landmark via an underground extension that’ll connect the mall with Dubai Creek Tower.
The AED 10 billion development is tipped to out do every mall in the world, including the three biggest shopping centres on the planet: the New South China Mall, SM Tianjin and Golden Resources Mall, all found in China.
