Hint: It’s all about quality time with your family

It’s the Holy Month of Ramadan and there are several ways that it’s best observed. One of the most fruitful ways though, is spending time with family.

And that’s exactly what HH Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, has been doing. He and HRH Princess Haya bint Al Hussein have already given us some serious family goals, and this latest example is particularly sweet.

HH Sheikh Mohammed took to Instagram at the beginning of Ramadan to post an image on his Instagram account aptly titled “Ramadan Family” showing him spending time with the younger members of the royal household.

That image was quickly shared by HH Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the Crown Prince of Dubai, to his 6.3 million Instagram followers and also by HRH Princess Haya.

Yesterday, Sheikh Hamdan also posted another image of Sheikh Mohammed in their helicopter. While we can’t be sure where the image was taken, we presume that it was while flying over downtown Dubai post sunset.

Interestingly, it had the #iphoneonly attached to the caption.

If you’ve been following Sheikh Hamdan’s Instagram account you’ll recall that brilliant video on an iPhone X display that he posted five days ago wishing everyone Ramadan Mubarak with the crescent moon visible alongside the Burj Khalifa.

Sheikh Hamdan has recently returned from a visit to New York, Chicago and London. In London he was joined by Sheikh Mohammed as well.

Other leaders from across the Middle East are also leading the way when it comes to influencing people on how to spend the holy month. HM Queen Rania Al Abdullah of Jordan used the occasion of the first day of Ramadan to draw attention to the plight of people suffering around the world on her social media feed.

We’re wishing you all a peaceful Holy Month.
