Polo season is back at Melia Desert Palm, and to celebrate the popular polo venue is hosting a range of foodie events, offering nibbles, drinks and fabulous views of the polo fields. Here’s a rundown of what’s on offer.

Every Thursday, guests can enjoy delicious tapas and drinks in the warm winter outdoor air at Epicure bistro. The set price deal costs AED 195 per person and runs from 7.30pm until 10pm.
Vintage Friday Brunch

Every weekend guests can tuck in to a delicious range of fresh dishes from the restaurant’s oak-firewood grill, including smoked duck. Else where tryout slow cooked short ribs, chicken shish tawook, lamb chops, tempura, Teriyaki smoked salmon and more. Tasty desserts include chocolate caribe, pistachio esperanto and crepes. Packages cost AED 295 for soft drinks, whilst the more expensive packaged costs AED 450.
Saturday Siesta Brunch

Every Saturday, the polo venue holds a Spanish themed brunch. Expect plenty of traditional paella and delicious BBQ meats. Sides include nachos, cheese balls, and of course delightful views of the polo fields. The brunch runs from 12.30pm-4.30pm. The soft beverage package costs AED 120, whilst the more expensive package costs AED 245.
Jewel Afternoon Tea

For a refined midweek treat, check out this afternoon tea offer. Sip on fine teas while tucking into warm scones, sandwiches and French pastry. From October April there’s usually a polo match in view, whilst the offer runs from 4pm-6pm daily. The deal is a steal at just AED 145 per person.
