The pop diva puts the power (of love) in power suit.
Celine Dion is becoming almost as synonymous with power suits as she is with power ballads. The Canadian pop diva and noted fashion risk-taker has been embracing the two-piece on her current world tour, and has a Lebanese designer to thank for one of her fiercest looks to date.
The My Heart Will Go On singer posted a photo to Instagram that shows her perched high above the Bangkok skyline, rocking an electric yellow suit by Maison Rabih Kayrouz.
She accessorised the bold outfit with Prada sunglasses and embroidered pumps, and a wedge-shaped Chloe bag.
Dion often turns to Lebanese designers when it comes to her wardrobe, both onstage and off. The singer wore a mermaid-inspired gown by Zuhair Murad to the 2017 Grammy Awards, before taking to the stage at a Bee Gees tribute concert in a midnight-blue haute couture gown by Elie Saab.
As well as Lebanese designers, Dion has always loved a suit – who could forget her iconic “backwards tux” at the 1999 Oscars? Controversial, sure, but she hasn’t let the haters stop her from living her truth.
