Blake jetted in to join Ryan over the weekend
Most people in the UAE enjoyed three days off work this weekend following the government announcement last week. Not so for Hollywood megastar Ryan Reynolds. The actor was in town to shoot scenes from his upcoming Netflix moving Underground 6.

The actor however, did manage to take some time off between shoots to spend some time with his wife, actress Blake Lively, who flew in to Abu Dhabi to visit her husband.

According to What’s On Abu Dhabi the pair had dinner at Emirates Palace where they were joined by some of the cast and crew from the film.
According to Ryan, the scenes shot in Abu Dhabi will “one of the highlights” of the upcoming movie. In a statement, Ryan also said that he had been enjoying his time in the capital, and had found people to be very welcoming.
The celebrity couple weren’t the only ones seen out and about in the city over the long weekend. The film’s director, Michael Bay was also spotted in the capital, with cast member Lior Raz.
