Queen Bey just wore another Arab designer
This weekend the internet was awash with celebrities wearing elaborate Halloween costumes, but there was something extra special about Beyonce’s Halloween look. The queen of pop wore an outfit designed by Sara Al-Saud, the Saudi Arabian designer behind LA-based fashion label Death By Dolls.

The costume was custom made for the singer and based on an iconic outfit worn at the 1988 Olympic trials by American athlete Florence Griffith–Joyner.
Sara, who was born in London to Saudi Arabian parents, set up Death By Dolls with her sister in 2008. The sisters are understandably proud of the fashion icon wearing their design, and posted several pictures of Beyonce wearing their design on their social media account.

Meanwhile, Bey’s husband Jay-Z emulated Olympic athlete Tommie Smith for the festivities.
