When a party is held at a designer hotel, you expect the fashion stakes to be high, and boy were they last night at the Emirates Woman, Woman of the Year Awards 2016.
The dress code called for black tie and the men were suitably suited and booted and the women dazzled on the purple carpet (oh, did we not say? The event was held at the Palazzo Versace Hotel). From head-to-toe sequins to large bows and hues ranging from black to green, yellow and rainbow.
The sartorial bar was set very high.
