“Sisters are doing it for themselves,” goes the Eurythmics song and this couldn’t be truer than with the gorgeous famous sisters Gigi and Bella Hadid with the latter joining her sister on the prestigious Victoria’s Secret runway.
One thing is for sure, the genes are incredibly strong in the Hadid household. Yolanda Foster, the matriarch, is a former model, Gigi Hadid, who shot to fame thanks to that Sports Illustrated cover, has been named the model of the year and younger sister Bella Hadid has already fronted fashion campaigns for top brands including Botkier New York.
After the sisters starred in the recent autumn/winter 2015 Balmain adverts together we knew it would only be a matter of time before the siblings would be working together again. Taking on the power duo, Bella Hadid joins big sis Gigi as a Victoria’s Secret angel, after being signed up by the hugely profitable lingerie brand.

The 18-year-old model, took to Instagram to share the exciting news that she was to follow in Gigi’s footsteps and star in the lingerie line’s little sister label, VS Pink – “comfy, effortlessly cool wear and accessories”. Of course she got help from fellow models Devon Windsor and Rachel Hilbert to help make the announcement.

The exciting appointment makes Bella and Gigi the first sister duo to have been signed up by Victoria’s Secret. With the girls on-board, there are now rumours circulating among the fashion crowds suggesting that Bella and Gigi will both walk in Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show this season. If ever there was a great PR opportunity to take advantage of, this is it.
Move over Kardashians, it seems the Hadids are ready to take the fashion industry by storm and, quite frankly, we can’t wait. Let the stylish sibling rivalry commence.
