Seriously, these two are absolute designer favourites.
Right now, Paris Couture Week is in full swing. Middle Eastern designers are already making their mark on the runway, and on the modelling side of things, it’s looking fabulous too.
Half-Palestinian Bella Hadid and Brit-Moroccan Nora Attal are in hot demand this week (as they both usually are, really).

Our favourite Middle Eastern looks from Paris Couture Week so far
This modestwear label is redefining the classic hijab…
Let’s start with Attal. The young beauty started her week with Hermes…
In a beautiful rose-toned coat we’re going to do our best to find a dupe of. She then moved on to a very big name…
Yep, Maria Grazia Chiuri’s much-discussed Dior show. Attal looked incredible.
She then walked for Proenza Schouler (in another gorgeous piece of outerwear) before making her way over to Chanel.
As you’d expect from the house, the show was an experience. Themed on a French garden, it saw models stepping out under arches and by fountains.
Attal didn’t let the set dressing overwhelm her, though. Another star turn.
For Hadid’s part, it’s been as much about her off-runway style as anything else. We covered that a bit earlier in the week, and she’s made some other bold moves since then.
On the job, though, she walked for Alexandre Vauthier.
Hadid opened the show in a high-necked white blouse worn with a sculptural yellow plaid silk jacket. How’s that brooch at the neck? Louis XIV by way of the 1980s.
The 21-year-old model closed the show, too, in a dramatic teal opera coat and black mini. Both looks were matched with narrow sunglasses.
Off the runway, for the Dior Masquerade Ball, Hadid wore a makeup look we’ll be doing our best to copy. Gold leaf winged eyeliner and rosy lips? Sign us up.
We’ll keep you updated as the week continues.
