Clue: they’re by one makeup artist soon to make her Dubai debut…
There are many elements that blew us away when we saw Amal Clooney swish down the red carpet at the Venice Film Festival this week.
The retro waves, the Grecian-inspired lilac chiffon… everything was pretty much perfect.
However it was the human rights lawyer’s on-point beauty look that really had us gawping, with the berry-bitten lip and balanced smoky eye.

And luckily for those of us who want to copy Clooney, the 39-year-old’s makeup artist has revealed exactly what was used to create the finished look.
Clooney, who welcomed twins with husband George in June, turned to celebrity favourite Charlotte Tilbury on the night, who prepped the star’s skin with her Magic Cream moisturiser.
In fact, every product used came from Tilbury’s namesake line, which counts Sienna Miller, Miranda Kerr and Emily Ratajkowski amongst its customers.
The base used for the Suburbicon premiere was Tilbury’s Magic Foundation, followed up by the Retoucher concealer and Airbrush Flawless Finish powder.
And the part we most adore? That lip colour was actually created by blending together two Matte Revolution lipsticks in Love Liberty and The Queen.
(If you want to know the rest of the products used, just check Tilbury’s Instagram caption above).
The makeup artist also broke down the look she created for Clooney at another Venice Film Festival event.

And the best news? It’ll soon be a lot easier to get your hand on Tilbury’s line, with the makeup artist all set to open her first-ever Dubai store next year.
The Charlotte Tilbury shop will launch in The Dubai Mall in early 2018, meaning that guessing your perfect foundation match from online swatches will soon be a thing of the past.
We’ve also been able to confirm that the whole range will be available, rather than just a curated selection.
We’re counting down the days already…
