While you’d expect Armani Ristorante to be slick, it certainly isn’t all style and no substance. The six course Valentine’s menu has been lovingly prepared to ensure that presentation and taste are a match made in designer-dining heaven.
Décor
In-keeping with the Armani brand, everything is uncomplicated and smooth, while retaining an air of extravagance. It’s the James Bond of Dubai restaurants.
Ambience
This place tows a perfect line between busy and intimate. With knowledgeable waiting staff on-hand, you’ll feel like royalty for the evening. All this with the Burj Khalifa fountains bursting into action at regular intervals, and it’s pretty close to perfect.
Food
The pièce de résistance in a seamless evening? The food. We ate our way through six amorously crafted dishes, from beetroot marinated sea bream with thyme sorbet to veal tenderloin with watercress potato and glazed Japanese artichokes. Our favourite was saved for last – a chocolate box filled with surprises like popping candy and passion fruit caviar.
Why Bother
A lot of love has been put into this dining experience. The food, the atmosphere, and the white rose we received at the end of the evening as “a sign of friendship”, melted our hearts.
