Plus the rest of the looks you need to see.
It’s pretty clear where the focus was at Windsor Castle on May 19—up the front with Meghan Markle’s Givenchy gown.
The new Duchess of Sussex looked incredible, and we’ve discussed that more over here, but she wasn’t the only well-turned out woman in attendance.
Human rights lawyer and perennial best-dressed favourite Amal Clooney looked stunning in a sunny yellow Stella McCartney midi dress.

Style hits: This week’s best dressed in the UAE
Clooney’s hat was by Stephen Jones Millenery, and featured small beaded veil. Jones was tasked with creating hats for a few of Markle’s nearest and dearest—her mother’s hat was also by him.
We love the tie detail on Clooney’s dress. Between that and the eye-catching colour, McCartney clearly knew where she was putting her focus.
She was also probably pretty busy in the lead-up to the wedding. The British designer was also in charge of Markle’s second dress of the day, for her reception.
With a high neck and modern silhouette, the gown suits the new Duchess of Sussex perfectly. We’re thinking this is going to be a heavily imitated bridal look.
On top of that, McCartney also dressed US television legend Oprah Winfrey.
Winfrey opted for a blush pink knee-length number with lace detailing and long sleeves. Lovely.
Also opting for British design was Indian actress and close friend of the bride, Priyanka Chopra.
She wore a lavender Vivienne Westwood skirt suit.
Tennis player Serena Williams went for a similar colour but different feel in her draped Versace number.
Like the bride’s Givenchy ceremony gown, it was made of silk cady. We love her long, pulled back braids and Bulgari jewels.
Doria Ragland, mother of the bride, went for custom Oscar De La Renta.
Her wool crepe dress and coat ensemble featured floral embroidery and was set off by that Stephen Jones hat.
And to finish up, here’s Victoria Beckham in her own design.
Many were calling David Beckham the best-dressed man on the day. He wore custom Dior Homme.
And Markle’s new sister-in-law, Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge? She re-wore a pale yellow Alexander McQueen dress coat.
We’d say that sends a pretty clear message. Attention on the bride, please.
