She’s a lean, keen, fashion social media machine. TV star, style icon, and model Alexa Chung will be taking over the Instagram account of AG Jeans today as her collaboration with the denim brand hits the stores.
Partnering with Alexa Chung to create a 20-pioece collection was a genius move by AG, the premier global denim and lifestyle brand – she is the queen of looking effortlessly chic, has over 1.2million Instagram followers and has graced more five Vogue covers. AG better start preparing itself for its biggest in-demand sale to date.

True to her style, Alexa’s collection is a modern-meets-vintage line with everything from overalls to mod dresses, high-waisted jeans, graphic sweatshirts and even a few live-in tees. It’s model-off-duty at its best.
However, her role with AG doesn’t just stop at designing and modelling, the 31-year-old TV presenter will also be taking over the AG Instagram account between 9pm-11pm (5-7pm in the UK) using the hashtag #ACforAG.
The spring 2015 collection, aptly named Alexa Chung for AG (nice and succinct, at least), will be available at select AG wholesale accounts as well as at the brand’s wholly owned retail stores, its ecommerce site, and stylebop.com. Retail pricing will range from US$70 – US$300.
“I visited their [AG] offices in LA and was delighted to discover it was also the site of their factory. I liked that it is a family business and that they are experts on denim technology,” said Alexa. “I found the trip incredibly inspiring and an opportunity to learn about denim and make things I had been dreaming about finding. The collection is inherently the missing pieces of my dream denim wardrobe, which, as ever, is predominantly inspired by a late sixties, early seventies aesthetic.”
Alexa is the latest in a series of successful collaborative partners nurtured by AG, including celebrity stylist Cher Coulter, men’s golf label Travis Mathew, and textile studio Liberty Art Fabrics.
