You can now find the Tunisian-born label in The Dubai Mall.
He is the style legend whose legacy lives on – and it’s now even easier to get a touch of the famed couturier Azzedine Alaïa in your life.
The Tunisian-born designer’s eponymous label has opened its first standalone boutique in the Middle East, just months after the icon died in Paris at the age of 77.

The Alaïa store has opened in The Dubai Mall’s new Fashion Avenue expansion, and the interiors are just as much a work of art as the collections.
Spread over 200 square metres, the boutique features silver grills on the walls designed by American artist Kris Ruhs, a friend and long-time collaborator of Alaïa.
The design of the boutique, which has been opened in partnership with Boutique 1, plays with light and shadows, elements which featured in the couturier’s work.
The store, which is open from 10am until 12am on Sundays to Wednesdays and 1am on Thursdays to Saturdays, will stock limited-edition collections, ready to wear, accessories and footwear.
It’s just one of the new openings at the Downtown Dubai destination, which will eventually play home to more than 150 luxury brands in its much-hyped fashion extension.
Labels including Gucci, Hermès, Dolce & Gabbana Cartier and Dior have set up shop, while plenty of food and beverage outlets will be on hand so you can rest your weary, shopped-out feet.
