It’s hard to believe that 2017 is wrapping up, but the calendar doesn’t lie.

The last 12 months have been a mixed bag, whichever way you look at it, so we may as well enjoy ourselves where we can. Fashion remains a true joy, especially when it’s on one of our favourite royals.

HRH Princess Haya Bint Al Hussein doesn’t step out as often as some, but when she does, she tends to look pretty incredible.

Scroll on for some of our favourite looks from the Princess this year. Has anyone ever worn embroidery so well? We think not.

On a visit to a Dubai pediatric therapy centre, Her Royal Highness opted for a striking, floral dress with three-quarter sleeves and a boat neck. With simple accesories and fuss-free hair, it’s just right for a day on the move.

Lemon yellow isn’t the easiest colour to pull off, but at the Epsom Derby, Princess Haya made it work. Love the sleeves.

For a Lion’s Club event in November, the princess opted for this embellished black and gold number. Her hair is lovely here – those soft waves around the face are winner.

In a similar vein, though this time in a deep red, is this gown worn for a meeting with the Governor-General of Australia. Princess Haya has a formula, and it works.

Completely different, but equally lovely, is this pale blue coat dress worn to a charity event in March. A little bit Grace Kelly, right?

It’s hard to make a call, but this striking, tomato-red ensemble might be our pick for Princess Haya’s look of the year. She looks amazing, and that’s possibly the best race-day hat we’ve ever seen. The tan clutch is a nice tough, too.

As with last year, though, the real winner here is Princess Haya’s practical, on-the-ground look while she engages in humanitarian work. In a blue button-down and a personalised khaki vest, she’s ready for anything.

Just one of the many reasons we love her.
