Held by Dubai-based Share This Space, which offers brands and designers short-term access to retail spaces, the showroom will celebrate local design, culture and women from the region.

Approximately 2,500 brands are currently registered on their platform.

“The fashion industry in the Middle East has evolved rapidly in the past decade and talent emerging from the region needs to be showcased on an international platform,” Shahzad Bhatti, founder of Share This Space, said. “My objective has always been to support start-up and new concepts from the region by connecting them with spaces where they can sell and promote their products.”

The emerging designers include Dhalia Hage, founder of Also Freedom, a Dubai-based unisex T-shirt company and Hebatullah Essaway, a Dubai-based entrepreneur and founder of womenswear label LOU. Others include Dubai-based Sheen, the first Saudi Arabian jewellery brand in history to exhibit there.

Last month, it was announced that Dubai-based womenswear label Three Fifty Nine will be heading to London after winning a prestigious competition, organised by Dubai Design and Fashion Council. The brand will partner with Fashion Scout.

Visitors can register online or at the entrance of the Designer Showrooms.
